  19. All of the features implemented in Release 3 have been a direct
  20. result of our users.  Your suggestions and ideas help up provide
  21. the best culinary software available on the market.

  23. Conversion Kits are now available with Version 3. These special
  24. utilites easily converts other cook book recipes into Recipe Box
  25. Database Format.

  32. - Serving Size increased to 999
  33.  
  34.          The maximun Serving Size amount has been incresed from
  35.          99 to 999.
  36.  
  37.          This permits adjusting recipes ingredient portions for
  38.          larger parties and institutional applications.

  41. - Increased Number of Measurements
  42.  
  43.         The number of standard measurements have been increased
  44.         from 52 to 60, with the addition of:

  51. - Customize your own Measurements

  53.         An additional 15 measurements can be added to the
  54.         measurement list, bringing the total to 75.

  56.         These custom measurements are kept in the configuration
  57.         file used by Recipe Box.  You may add any measurement
  58.         up to 8 characters long.

  66. - Faster Transfer of Recipes

  68.         Depending on the transfer rate of your hard drive, an
  69.         increase of up to 30% may be achieved.

  74.         You can customize you printed recipes with you name as
  75.         part of the report header.  Up to 30 characters may be
  76.         used.  Some examples are:

  83. - Quick Find Recipe List

  85.         Press the "?" key to display a text search window, and
  86.         enter the first word (or letters) of a recipe name.  The
  87.         list window will display the respective recipe.

  89.         Up to 21 characters can be entered for the search.

  92. - Enhanced Recipe List Features

  94.         *  <Shift + letter> combination  will display the first
  95.            recipe name starting with the respective letter.

  97.         *  Page Up & Page Down keys will scroll a full window.

  100. - Increased line length for Ingredients

  102.         The line length of the Ingredients has been increased
  103.         from 47 to 67 characters.  The increase will help prevent
  104.         long lines from being truncated after formatting.

  106.         The line size of the Shopping List has also been modified
  107.         to accept the long Ingredients line length.

  110. - Increased number of lines for Preparation
  111.  
  112.         The number of lines available to enter Preparation text
  113.         has been increased from 75 to 150.  This enhancements
  114.         permits handling those bigger recipes requiring extra
  115.         verbiage.

  118. - End of line Warning bell for Ingredients

  120.         The Ingredients editor has been enhanced to ring a bell
  121.         at the end of the line as a reminder.

  129. convert other cook book formats into Recipe Box database format.

  138. The conversion requires 5 steps:
  139.  
  140.        1. Obtain ASCII text file of recipes
  141.        2. Run appropriate conversion utility
  142.        3. Edit/Review the new text file
  143.           (Recipe Box format)
  144.        4. Run CONVERT.EXE to generate database
  145.           (free utility to registered users)
  146.        5. Use the new database as a separated cook book
  147.           -or-
  148.           Transfer recipes to the main book
  149.
